Getting very jerky results on my standalone, finally discovered that it was the framerate - I'd been trying to encode one movie at NTSC 23.97fps but original avi was 25fps.
How can I convert to 23.97 (then pulldown)? Do I have to do the Vdub trick or can I use aviframerate changer to do that?
There's lotsa help for going up to 25 from 23.97, but I cant find anything for PAL to NTSC.
Using CCE (frameserved from TMPGEnc & VFAPIConv) - does CCE do anything with framerates? What does 'drop frame' do? Can I use that to ditch a frame from 25fps & get my NTSC compliant?
