I have attempted to create my first VCD using Nero. Everything seemed to go OK, but I can't get the VCD to play on any of my DVD players. It seems like the DVD players don't recognize that a CD is in the player. I do see a 232Meg DAT File in the MPEGAV directory. (I've read in other posts that that is the actual file containing the video).
Any ideas? I know it's not much to go on.
Thanks for the help.

Well, first does it play on your computer?
2nd does your DVD player play VCD or CD-R or CD-RW?
Yes, the .dat file is the mpeg file you burnt. Try and use media player to play your VCD.May the force be with you.
