  1. hi, i have a 17,5gb of free hard disk that means that i can record in avi 40 minutes only, so what should i do to record other 40 minutes and put them into a cd? i mean if i run nero and burn the first 40 minutes it doesn't allow me to put anything more!
    what can i do???

    You need a better codec which allows you to compress a little more. I would really recomend the Huffyuv 2.1 Codec (download on the on the tool page) You should be able to record a lot more than 40 mintues. See in your capture application if you can set the compression used while capturing. And change that to something less sizedemanding...

    I use the codec that came with my graphic card. The "Asus Video Compression" I get about 100 Mb for 3 minutes. in PAL standard.

    Remeber that if you're running Fat16 or Fat32 files system you will bump into the 4Gb limit too.
