  1. Hi, I am using the dvd2svcd program and I am using TMPEG for video Encoding. I am using 2pass VBR and motion search precision as "highest quality". TMPEG says it expects to take about 20 hours to finish encoding. This is a 100 minute movie. Is this normal? Is it supposed to take this much time?? Am I doing anything wrong? Should I change some setting? Thanks.

suggestion- lower motion search to high quality instead of highest.

Im my experience there is no difference(quality wise) except highest takes longer

  5. Why not use Cinema Craft Encoder and go a lot faster. If you can somehow play the MPG out to TV from your PC you'll want to have CCE do VBR one pass (0-9800) and go 2.5 times realtime.

    AWESOME!!
