I was just wondering if there was any other program besides virtual dub that can be used to cut/append avi clips. I like virtual dub but it is giving me troubles with bigger files.(even though I have windows xp). When I try to save an avi of say 3 gigs or more, the resulting avi comes up as "an invalid format'' in my media player. Not sure why so I was wondering if anybody knows of a different avi editor that works as good as virtual dub. Thanks!

Try HJSplit - get it here: http://download.com.com/3302-2248-872233.html?ob=0&pn=3&fb=0
It handles large files easily and there is 98% positive feedback from users. Only thing though - i don't know whether it works on XP - but give it a try anyway...
