  1. Hello my wife bought me a standalone dvd player but its from a strange brand, ecc but the letters are backwards and the model is called simline-2.

    now my question i have men in balck 2 vcd and when i load the disc in my dvd player i get wrong disc error but the vcd indicator on the dvd is on ?

    anyone know what the problem is ?

    Just a suggestion but your player might not be able to play CDR's

    I agree you player my not be able to play them. My first DVD player had VCD on the front, but would not play. After doing some checking, I found that it would only play PRESSED VCD's. I didn't even know they made pressed vcd's.

    I ended up buying another player... The RCA 5240p $100.00 - this player will play just about anything....

  4. thx for the reply, i don't know if this has anything to with it. But the player play's cd's i recorded with music on them. and they are recorded on the same brand of cdr's the movie is on .
