    Hi

    I have been given a video file that is encoded using divx 5.0.2 but i get no audio. When I check the properties I see "unknown" is there anything I can use to tell me what codec I need to install

    I have ac3 installed so I think its a more obscure one, I have XP installed but not many 3rd party codecs. Do you know any others that it may be.

    Ogg Vorbis use to catch most people out, have you tried a codec pack like Nimo lite?
