  1. I have Win 98se so I have a limit on file size. Using MMC MPEG2 for the ATI AIW I get two segments for a 90 minute movie. I noticed by accident that DVD2AVI will load both segments and make one d2v. Vut when encoding it is not seamless. Is there away to make the segments seamless.

  2. You have a Pentium4 at 2.4Ghz but you still stick
around with OS from the 90's?

Recommend to bite the bullet and get WinXP pro upgrade.
Format the HD in NTFS to avoid the 4GB limit.

If you are a student, it will cost you $78 +$7 shipping

If you had asked that question 6 months ago I would have recommended Win2K without a doubt, but at this point in time I think most of the hardware manufacturers have gotten up to speed on their driver development and XP is a pretty mature product at this point. If you were already running Win2K I'd recommend sticking with it, but if you going to do the upgrade you might as well go with the most modern OS out there. My experience with XP has been mainly a positive one and I've been running it since it first became available last October.

  5. Hey KayFam,
I notice you hvae the same capture card as I do. Any capturing settings, suggestions. I like to record a few televisions shows and the encode them to divx, since someone said divx is better for watching on the computer.
