    Im trying to rip the simpsons to my computer but Smartripper and dvd dycripter keep telling me to the drive is locked or something like that.

    Does any1 know how to stop this problem

    Try playing the DVD in your computer for a couple minutes. This usually does the trick.

    yeah, have powerdvd or similar playing the dvd in the background whilst the ripping program grabs the keys

    it dosent work, i tried opening the vob that is locked but it froze and wouldnt read
    but it works find it my normal dvd player
