  1. Is there a way with either TMPGEnc or Virtual Dub to resynch the audio on an mpg file when it is off. I thought I saw it here once before but cannot seem to find the tab in either to do it.

There's a Audio Delay corretion setting in the Source Range filter in TMPGenc. That fixed my Memento DivX to SVCD. The sound was 900 ms early.

Other wise I usuallt extract the Audio and edit it in an outside tool adn then merge the Video and Audio in TMPGenc!

I worked out the 900 ms by testing. It's not very hard to see if the audio was early or behind.. so I tested with -500 ms and it wasn't enough so then I tried another -400 = -900 and then it looked like it was in sync.. so I guess that was right.

The's a Filter in TMPGenc called Source Range, you check that one and dubbleclick to do the settings. Then under Audio Delay Correction you set the correction in miliscenods.

If you did'nt know there are filters in TMPGenc they are under the Advanced TAB in settings.
