It burns, and says successfull (sometimes it doesn't though). When it does burn one that says successful, and when I go to check the VCD, there is just a bunch of files on it. CDIEXT, MPEGAV (with a bunch of .dat files that do no open), SEGMENT and VCD files too. I'm about to throw my Nero software against a wall. Please help!

that my friend, is NORMAL, a VCD can be read by a DVD player, you can also watch it on your comp, but you'll need a special reader for that... Look in tools, look for sumtin with DAT in... The REAL video file is the DAT file in the MPEGAV folder( i think,im not sure)

If you want Windows Media player to open your .DAT files right-click on
the file and select "Open With..."select Media Player and enjoy.
In a VCD the main movie files are in the MPEGAV folder,in SVCD it's
MPEG2. -
