I am trying to convert a real media file to mpeg so that I can make it into a vcd, but I don't know too much about what I am doing. I registered the EOVideo and tried to figure out how to use it. I used the following instructions found here to convert the file and both times the mpeg has audio video out of sync.
-Install and launch EO Video.
-Use the Explorer and drag your RM file(s) to the Playlist to the right.
-Click on Convert at the bottom.
-Click on Profile, select VCD MPG or DivX AVI
if VCD MPG, under Video select 352 x 240 and 29,97 fps for NTSC VCD
-Audio MPEG3 Layer compression
-Click on Output and select output folder
-Click on Convert and the CONVERT button.
How can this be fixed? Is there another product I need to use? It says to use tmpgenc to multiplex the MPG to compliant VCD format , but I don't know what that means and I can't figure out how to use that thing and shouldn't the audio/video be in sync before I use the tmpgenc? Please help!
