    How do u uninstall Kristal Studio 4.33. One of my game's (No one lives forever 2) sound doesn't work. I traced it back to this codec, but i'm not sure how to uninstall this codec. I tried to reinstall the game's codec b/c it uses an mp3 codec also, but it keeps giving me this error message "Error registering the OCX c:\windows\system32\l3codec.acm".

    I don't see your OS, sounds like the codec is trying to overwrite what you already have on your system. Safe mode would stop that...

    Control Panel > Multimedia > Devices
    You can remove them using that.

    I'm running winXP. THanks for the help. The post really helped me out. I got rid of the codex by rolling back my computer to before i installed teh codex and it worked.
