This problem is more file orientated than anything, but I didn't know where to ask it. Every time I have downloaded movie files recently, usually 1 out of every 3 works. It tries to download codecs, with no success, or just plays a blank screen, or no sound.

Is there software that I should get?....or are these files just corrupted? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Steve

  2. You could always download a codecs pack such as Nimo Codec pack:
http://nimo.everwicked.com/ or maybe your files are just corrupted, in that case you can always try to fix them with DivXFix: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divfix.html...Hope this helps...

You do have to be careful, there are lots of fake movies out there, so you should use the verified movies, and Sig2Dat that way your are guaranteed the movies are correct. Having said that, you will need many different types of codec's before you can convert, sometimes you will be able to play but not convert.
