I have a very cheap capture card but for the price it captures good,but I'm trying to capture some clips from a Dvd and every program I try to capture with I get this purple lines thats look bad and when I check the lines are captured with the video,my capture card it's a CyberTainment CyberMail AV,what can I do?I want some little clips from the Dvd so I can make a music video,thanks in advance.

Okay I tried Virtual Dub and I got those lines,then I checked with Adobe Premiere and it still showed those lines.

Is the DVD on your system or coming from a player?

Im trying to capture with the Playstation 2,because my Dvd player is far from the computer and too much cables(it's a home theater).

Okay I researched your symptons and it appears to be macrovision. The solution seems to be ripping using smartripper. Good luck.

Hey I'm trying to capture with a capture card since I don't have a dvd-rom,so smart ripper is for ripping only I think,anyway eliminating macrovision?thankz
