I use Virtual Dub for capture & it is a very good program. However, I cannot hear any sound while capturing. Under Video Source it says "ATI MediaCenter."
I heard of something called a "wrapper" in the Rage3D site. I have not problems with the sound, when played back after capture, but would like to hear it during capture, as I do using ATI Media Center. Any ideas please?

When you look at your volume settings, are any set too low?
Hello. -
Volumne is the first thing I checked. It captures in ATI MMC with sound. Then I switch to Virtual Dub-NO Sound. It's more than that.

I had the same problem. The fix is to change the sound card's "record " configuration. By default, it is usually set to "microphone". Change it to match how your capture card is connected to your sound card, usually "line in" or "aux".
