  1. i really been looking for a asf converter... the first tmpeg wont do it... virdub dont do it and graphix edit (or whatever it is) aint worth a shhhhhhh... can somebody please help... i dont know y somebody just dont make one....

    I use Graphedit.exe which is an asf to mpg converter... works good when you locate the correct codec

  5. Maybe you have already tried this but I have found that TMPGenc will work for most asf files IF you use a separate wav audio source for the audio. The only good one I know for getting the audio properly form an ASF file is using the Dbaudio converter program. This program MUST* have the plug in for WMV support that is on the page to extract the audio from an asf. Try this. I had a HELL of a time until I figured out that the program listed in the help pages needed this plug in to extract the audio from the asf. After I did use separate sources TMPGenc had NO problems. The DBaudio converter program is listed in the asf conversion section of VCDhelp.com. Good luck.
