  1. Hi,

im trying to create (S)VCDs to watch movies on my Samsung 611. As starting point i use m2v video and mp2 audio streams. I use tmpgenc plus 2.58.44.152 to create the (S)VCD images and Nero 5.5.9.9 to burn the images on discs.

When i try to play those with my PC everthing looks fine (playing from harddisk and CD), but when i put them into my Samsung 611 trouble starts. On SVCD fast motions blur into each other, but the sound is ok. I tried to use the "ghost reduction" option in tmgenc which helpd a bit but the picture is still not ok. The sound on the other hand is... Any ideas?

After that i tried to create VCDs. Again i used to standard template i got with tmpgenc. The picture is ok this time but the sound isnt The volume is getting up and down and the audio itself isnt clear.

I tried CDs from 2 different manufactures so far, same results with both of them. When i burn downloaded VCDs from the net they work so i dont think its an general prob with my dvd player but some messed up options.

it would be great if someone in here could give me some tips

    thanks

    Roi

  3. Well thanks for your response, i did read the thread mentioned and i dont think the Samsung is the problem. I can play downloaded (S)VCDs, only the ones im trying to build myself are showing the probs. So my guess would be im doing something wrong when encoding. But as i use the standard templates from tmpgenc i have no idea what i should change...

Try this, Download Media Studio Trial from Ulead. Capture your video and use Media Studio to create your MPEG file. Then burn to CD.
