  1. First I created an MPEG File of an advertisement from a DAT File. Then with windows picture maker, I created a WMV file from a GIF file with some text in it. Then I converted it into an MPEG File. Later when I tried to merge those 2 files using TMPGEnc-2.57.41.146-Free version, it failed with the message stating that one of the MPEG File is incompatible to the other one.

    How can I get past this, Please. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    You need to save the template of the video file, then encode the file containing the picture using the same template.

    1. Select File-->New project

    2. Load your video.

    3. Save this template by selecting Save and naming the template

    4. Load the video with your still image on it. If the template is still loaded (check the text at the bottom of the screen), Select Start. If it changes, select Load, reload your original video's template, then select OK, then Start.

    The resultant file is now the same format as your original video. Merge as you intended before -- Voilá!
