    How do I rename MPEGS so that I can join the individual segments using HJSplit? To do so requires that I rename them 001 onwards for HJSplit to join them together. I tried it the usual way but was unsuccessful. Many thanks. Colbee02

    If HJSplit was used to split them, then they would already have the correct names ?

    Why were they renamed to something else ?

    Mpeg 1, Mpeg 4 ?

    AVI or .mpg ?

    In reply, HJSplit wasnt used to split them, they came in as separate files to start with. All of which didn't have the ususal 00 suffixes
