SVCD's pre-packaged, time remaining and 'time search' functions on dvd players seems to work. However, in using nero it doesn't. I use nero cause its the faster creator/burner I'm aware of --- scans the file, then burns. No extra time to create an image. If anybody can suggest a way to fix this in nero --- or some other program that does this as quickly as nero, I'm interested to hear it. Couldn't decide which forum to post this on, but since I spend 28-hours encoding a svcd, then easy options in nero don't work --- I'd say it qualifies as advanced, heh. thanks.

Having tried other prorgams, and done some more extenesive reading up on this, I've come to the conclusion nero is the problem. There is a file scandata.dat in the ext folder, that is supposed to be generated specifically for the svcd you are creating. It doesn't -- just created a generic 8 byte one. Don't suppose anybody has a fix for this?
