  1. I have noticed that in TMPGEnc it has under the file menu "Save Project" does this mean that in the middle of encoding I can save the movie I am encoding and go back to it later? because my computer keeps freezing while trying to encode.

  2. Save project will save the settings you have set up for the file (segment, filters, bit rate etc..) but if you stop the encoding then you'll have to restart from the beginning.

  3. While you can suspend a TMPGenc and then continue it latter (I use to do this), save project is more for batch encoding. You can set up several encodes, save each one (make sure you give them different output names) and then choose batch encode, add the saved projects, hit run, and take a (long) nap
Pretty nice if you want to encode several short clips and/or multiple movies while at work.
