    Can anyone help with the problem of my 104 being stuck on region 2 for DVD playback. Any unlockers or Firmware updates. Burns OK just wont playback.

    Try www.dvdidle.com, there's a program available that allows multi-region playback on RPC-2 drives such as yours. Yes, you have to buy the program (I did) but it works great, even RCE compatible.
