  1. hi - could anybody give me a tip on how i can add a vcd menu to a VCD that i usually burn using a downloaded MPEG file ?

  6. tgpo - thanks alot ! now i have one problem left - how do i create an .mpg file that i can use as a menu ? there is no help text available for missingmenugen - i tried to take a .jpg and turn it into an mpg using quicktime - but i am not sure if this will work - can anybody help ?

  7. Try using VCD Builder. I use it for my VCD authoring and menus work great. At one point I had a XVCD authored using TMPGEnc (to convert the framerate up to 29.97 properly) and then spliced/authored under OS X (3 Anime fansubs, cut off the openings/endings and placed them at the begining/end of the VCD, with the menu leading into the episodes themselves).

    The VCD worked rather well. VCD Builder can convert images into a menu for you too.
    Slaughtering the competition with amatuer-quality VCD authoring abilities... fear my non-l33t skillz.
