    when opening an ifo file after ripping with smartripper, I can open the file & make the choices I want but when I go to encode, dvdx keeps saying there is a problem & shutting down

    I`ve tried an older version & v.2 with the same problem
    I have an AMD athlon & v.2 is meant to be compatible although it does say for a k6 chip, mine is a k7, will this make a difference & is there a patch for this yet

    any help greatly appreciated

    Which EXE do you run in order to start DVDx? I have a slight memory of that's a special EXE for Pentium and another for other CPU's. When I installed I got two different shortcuts in my startmenu.
