Bottom field first on NTSC Film DVD and no forced film on DVD2AVI?? and selecting the NTSC film templet?? Sorry but that goes contary to everything I'ver been doing over the past year. I think your guide has some serious flaws and anyone who thinks I'm wrong feel free to jump in. Most NTSC DVD's are progressive at 23.976fps with a 3:2 pulldown making it appear to be 29.97fps. There are hybrid discs out there that are the exception, but these are few and far inbetween. I'm sorry but I'd have to recommend that people stick to the how-to guides already established here and at http://www.doom9.org.
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack
