    hi
anyone out there able to help me witht he following problem.
i,m ripping dvd,s via claddvd xp,tmpegenc and dvdit pe.the picture is great but the sound isnt as loud as it should be on my ripped dvd,s.i,m copying from originals so the sound on them is perfect but my copies are very low indeed.is there a way to make this sound louder by turning it up in one of these programs.the sound is best when the dvd-r are played through my surround speaker system so it might be a dolby digital problem via one of these programs.
if no help with this any ideas on how i can rip dvd,s and have them as close to the origianla as possible
any help from you would be greatly appreciated
    mny thanks

  2. in tmpgenc I always boost the audio when making VCDs

    In audio panel:

    Select : use audio edit

    click settings, select change volume.

    Set it around 140-to-180%

But if you are making DVDR and are keeping the digital 5.1 audio
I can not see how the volume would be lower ?
