What program Authors and burns a Mpeg1 DVD file?

I just coverted a movie to lower quality DVD mpeg1 file usingTmpegnc plus and I would like to know what program I should use to author and burn this file.
I usualy use ulead DVD factory but it does not read mpeg1 DVD files.
I Looked all over the place for a program but notta.
There was something about a vcd to DVD but my file is not a mpeg1 vcd but is a mpeg1 DVD.
I have tried spruce up but after authoring it won't burn to my DVD-R maybe becuase its a trial version.
Please Please reply because I am geting realy desprate.

May I ask why you will not use MPEG-2?

I would Very much like to use mpeg2 but I always get interlace lines in my movies and I can't seem to get rid of them no matter what I do.
I for now I guess I am stuck with mpeg 1 DVDs.

do you watch this on a tv ? or on your PC with powerdvd or windvd .. because in either case interlaced lines are ok ... because you dont see them ..

in other words did the dvd look bad playing on your tv ?

with spruce up you never burn anything .. just make the VIDEO_TS folder and burn with nero .
