I have TMPEnc plus. And everytime I start it, I get errors. The first one comes from when I try to edit the AVI file. It gives me this error:
Then when I finally get it to work, when I start the encoding, it gives me this:

Could you post some details on the avi file in question such as the codecs involved. Also where the file originated (i.e. net download or something homemade) and some of the steps you've taken in your conversion process. Need more info to help.Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack -
I don't use Virtual Dub..
I got the AVI file from the net. Its a movie, I want to burn it into a DVD-R. The steps I've taken are the ones provided from the VCDHelp Converting section. -

I suggest you download a copy of VirtualDub and scan that file for junk frames. I've only seen those types of errors when there is a bad or corrupt frame and this is the quickest way to find out.Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack -

But I did what Kayfam said and so far its working. I did the FrameServe thing on the VCD Converting section and so far, its been great..
