  1. I’m capturing SVCD with AIW Pro. I usually record concerts from my DTS receiver. I have been de-multiplexing my file with TMPG (then setting TMPG encoder audio only to Joint Stereo and re-encode the audio) I’m trying to get the best sound quality possible for my music. I then multiplex video and new audio for burning. My question is :::: Do I need to do this, or am I wasting my time?????

  2. Your wasting your time converting audio.I get better results running
audio through Dolby Pro Logic receiver before sending to soundcard.
Hint:Run system compatability test in MMC(Control Panel). If sound card stability is higher than .2% d/l latest drivers or buy new soundcard.

  3. Thanks for the reply MOVIEGEEK,
I was asking because, I thought I read somewhere that Joint stereo was better than standard stereo--- that’s why I was changing the audio.

  4. Encoding in joint-stereo is faster but I prefer stereos' channel seperation.
