  1. when I try to use mulimedia center with my TV wonder VE the screan just blanks out when I try to capture. It goes black and then if I restart Multimedia center it goes back to normal. It woks fine when im using the tuner but if I try to use the captuer it doesnt work please help.

    P.S. Im using the generic drivers.

  2. ok sorry for this "bump" but I realy realy need help. I want 2 use the ati multimedia center caus I want to capture to MPEG2 format wich it supports. but as soon as I hit the capture button the screan goes black and doesnt return to normal untill I restart the program. I hope that information helps.

  4. Well I realy dont know that well I just captured about a minut of video with virtual dub. Im trying to find that out. But for the price u just cant beet it. Im shure captures are good though if you have the right settings. I think thats so with any card.

    SonKun, you might want to check out the boards over at www.rage3d.com to see if there's any information. I don't have one of these cards, but I know there are frequently threads regarding this kind of thing in the "All-In-Wonder, VIVO, and TV Support " forum.

  6. It may be a driver problem. Because there are special drivers for the MMC for capture. If you want to check try Virtual Dub which I think uses different drivers

  8. Try downloading the drivers from the ATI site.

  9. There is a post at rege3d about changing a hardware detect flag for the AIW VE, this seems to be what you need.
