what procceser do i need??

Hi

Can i with my Pentium II 350 mhz convert
DivX movies to vcd or mpeg.
!!sorry the spelling im from Denmark!!.

Yeah, I would say it probably can but its going to take a long time. MY 700 takes about 11 hours for a VCD, a few more for an SVCD, so it may take you an entire day. Try it out!

Make sure no other programs are running when you are converting. Mine takes about 10 times longer to convert if I forget and leave seti@home on.

I had an AMD K62-400 and it took me 18hrs to convert a 90min DivX to MPEG1 (wasn't even using the best settings). I've got a Tbird 1.2Ghz now and it takes me ~1x the runtime of the film So will it work, yes. But it'll take a LONG time. Esp if you use TPMPGenc 2pass VBR or CCE 3-5 pass.
