I struck problem on Phantom Menace, Checked out the ifo file (using ifoedit version 0.932) found which Vob-ids the extra angles were using, in my case 2,3,4. When it asked for which vob-ids to include I left out 2,3,4. I think I also ticked the 'remove-angle' box too.

May I ask exactly how (in IfoEdit) you discovered the extra angles were in vob's 2,3,4? I'm trying to rip Phantom Menace to 1 DVD-R - but have struck probs with this multi-angle issue you've raised as well trying to get it to <4.7Gb. By stripping menus, angles etc, I get it down to just over 5Gb (unless all else fails, am very loathe to cut down on the video quality as described in various guides). Any guidance? -
If you used a ripper that does IFO pasing like DVD Decrypter 3, and enabled stream editing, it would create VOB's with only one angle, the main title, and audio track of your choice. Re-author and burn away
