    Ok, I am looking for a ripper that supports subtitles, but allows me to encode with TMPGenc, so I can use Kwag's "kvcd" template... anyone have any recommendations?!?!

    1) kvcd is horrible IMO, especially if you're gonna watch on the computer. don't even bother doing that. it's non-standard, so SVCD will at least have as much compatibility as kvcd.

    2) rippers (i.e. smartripper and dvddecryptor) has nothing to do w/ the subtitles...the subtitle streams are part of the vobs. just make sure you rip the .ifo file too.
