  1. keep getting this error when authoring my .m2v/ac3 files while using Scenarist the error (copied and pasted below) is:-

Error WriteFile failed at sector 2096974, error 112
Error Disk may be full since failed in writing to disk: (C:\Documents and Settings\Star\Desktop\Scenarist Processed\mux_data\\e.scn-hungpd-t_t.vob)
Error dvd_mux : DoMux Multiplexing Error
    Error Terminated Multiplexing (e.scn-hungpd-t_t.vob).
Error Can't write output file. Please check the disk space.
    Error Multiplex is failed.
    Info Multiplexing failed, Track<hungpd-t>

    Error MuxFromDB:MuxVTS failed
    Error Multiplex failed
Error DVD files could not be created

I have 36 gigs free on C drive so whats with the "disk may be full since failing to writing to disk" ??????

First it I thought that it may be reffering to the DVD 4.7 parameters but after totalling the .m2v and ac3 file up I found it to be way within the limit so it can't be that!

So I can only assume the I maybe overlooking something , can anyone help? below is a list of all the software I use to copy dvds and the settings I used in CCE:-

Panic room 6.7 gigs(<--movie in question)
    CladXP
    DVD2AVI
Vfapi - to frame server to CCE
    ChapterXrator
    CCE
    Scenarist
    scenchap
    etc etc

the settings I used in CCE were:-

    multi pass:
average bit rate I set to 5100
    min was left at 0
max was 9500, cce predicted file size of 4.1 or there abouts.

sorry for the long email, hope someone replys now

try writing your files to only 1 dir deep from root like

    c:\\files\

    name files as standard 8.3

above prob will not fix it but it helps on some systems for some weird errors with both maestro and scenarist.

9500 is pretty high for max ..

the error indicates that it is happening during mux .. did you run your m2v files through bitrate checker ? i would suggest this first.
then add bit rate of ac3 file to peak max found in bitrate checker ..
