I tried to rip a dvd onto a network computer . when smartripper was searching the dvd it popped up with a message saying "no keys found"
can anyone suggest me what to do. aspi is installed but how can we verify whether its working and correctly setup. help me out please

Some DVD don't have the vobs encrypted, in which there are no keys to find.

however when i went to the vob files which have been decoded, and tried to open it in dvd2avi and tried to run then i was getting a scrambled image, did the files get properly decoded, how to verify that

networked computer? that may not be a good idea...try ripping the vobs to the computer that the dvd-rom is attached too...
also, in smartripper, under options..set key check to "once"..if that doesn't work...set it to "every vob file"
