I'm converting a avi (divx) to a SVCD with TMPGEnc. Should I select interlace or non-interlace and what exactly is the difference between the two?

I guess I'll give this another bump. No one knows? Could someone at least tell me what is the difference between the two?

non-interlace
divx movies are always non-interlaced. -
OK, thanks. Does it really make a difference either way, since non progressive scan TVs can only display Interlace anyways?

It makes a diffrence because TMPGenc uses a diffrent set of matrixes for interlaced nad non-interlaced. For progressive encoding it can take advantage of more image similarities.
