Toshiba SD-310V.. anyone heard of it? or seen it?

i was at walmart yesterday and i saw a new dvd player (model sd-310v)

but i cant seem to find any info on it.. its not listed on the toshiba web site, nor do i see it mentioned when i ran a search on this site.

does anyone know anything about this player? is it any good? they were selling it for $88 but i wanted to find out more about it first

and yeah the model # is correct.. i double checked it to be sure i didnt write it down wrong when i first saw it at walmart

Yes, I saw it at wal-mart, too but I can't find any info about it which is really mind-boggling to me !!!

Just FYI - bought the Father-in-Law a Toshiba SD-310V (SD310V) for $98 at Wal-Mart. Does not seem to play SVCD. At least it didn't play the 3 SVCDs (Alias Episode and a couple of episodes of "Taken") that I KNOW work on my Apex 1600.

Anyway, we are taking it back tomorrow to get the Apex.
