  1. I have found a few programs that are really useful in my video capture/authoring.

Spacemonger - Freeware. This awesome little program shows all the files on your harddrive as boxes. Big files are shown as big boxes. small files are smaller boxes. It is incredibly useful for deciding what files to delete in order to make more room on your hard drive. http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/18198.html

FindSounds.com - Free site. Just type in a sound you want and up pop several for you to choose from. If you need a dog bark or explosion or train whistle...this is a great resource. http://www.findsounds.com/

End it all 2 - Free program that turns off everything running in the background. On some system it is essential for getting error free captures. It is also useful if you have a program that locks up your computer when you try to install. I have found several programs that simply would not install untill I ran End It All 2 first. I don't know if this is listed in the tool section or not. Just do a search on the web

Quick Mix - Awesome little freebie that let's you save all your play and record volume settings. Ever record a TV show and find that you had neglected to enable line in? This program should be standard with windows. http://www.msaxon.com/quickmix/

If you have some programs that are real gems that you think others would find useful please add to my list. Don't list great programs like VirtualDub and TMPGenc because they are allready listed in Tools and are so well known.

    Thanks
