I've been playing around with DVDmaestro and the result was my first miniDVD.
On my standalone dvd player(phonotrend prestige) everything was OK except displaying elapsed time (it shows zeroes and no move...).
Here is what i was doing:
- movie is Princ of Egypt
- encode video with CCE in 352x576 pal resolution (1/2 D1), 16:9
- encode audio with tmpgenc - 96 kb/s mpeg-1 layer 2
- get subtitles with subrip
- prepare main menu and submenus
Put all that in DVDmaestro and authorize dvd.
Burn with nero (i've tried a small part with Ulead DVD Movie factory, but the result was same) on my cd-rw teac w54e.
I checked all the functions (FF,RW,goto,Chapters, subtitles, audio, ...) and everything worked except displaying time.
Since miniDVD is not standard am i expecting to much from my player?
By the way, i think if i put a peace of wood in it i think he would read something from it.
It is really interesting peace of hardware, plays everyting
- vcd, svcd, cvd, mp3
- cd-r, cd-rw
- svcd with subtitles (recognizes svcd style of subtitles)
- svcd audio chanels , ...
I'm just curious is there solution for that small problem, since i'm not an expert in DVDmaestro.
Sorry for the english, i'm from Croatia.
