  2. use spruce up , it is very easy to learn and you can make your own menu and the background you can actually capture one picture from the movie itself.... the type of file I use it with is .m2v and .ac3 and try using dvd-rw if you are not sure of the out come of your dvd or you can even use windvd to see how it come out first before burning.....

just my 2 cents hope this help...

  3. Do you want to copy the original menu from the DVD or make your own ?

If the original then make sure you copy the Video_ts vob,ifo and bup and VTS_01_0.vob, ifo and bup from the original DVD. These contain menu info.

To make your own menus try spruce up

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd-r_tools/spruceup.cfm

    Its easy to learn.

Also why dont you play your DVDs from your hardrive b4 you burn them onto a DVD-R. Most DVD software can now play from the hard drive. I use Hollywood Plus at home and WinDVD at work.

  4. I want to have the original menu,
And if i played them before i burned them, they didn't work.
That's why i thought maybe they would work if i burn them.

But, if i want the original menu, I only have 2 copy the video_TS vob, ifo, bup and the VTS_01_0.vob, ifo and bup
    And then burn it????

  5. if you want the original menu your suppose to use ifoedit, but i could never get that to work! A lot of other people has had success, so give it a shot. Look in the DVD RIP guide, there's a connection to doom9 and is also discuss in one of the most read topics in this forum. Enemy Within argues with Blackout that ifoedit works! Personally I like Blackout's method better of no menu and plays automaticly.

You should be able to change subs and audio tracks with your remote control while playing.
