I think the title says it all....Can the Matrox be used with Athalon processors?

Yes, but there is a caveat.
More than likely, AMD powered machines have a VIA chipset in them. This can cause issues with captures. Search Matrox's FAQ pages for optimizing. -
Oh well, thanks for the info. I like to stick with the easiest route.....I'll just stick to INTEL....

Don't forget that Intel systems can have a VIA based motherboard.
THE chipset you want for a Marvel G400-TV is one based on the 440BX chipset. It's old and hard to find, but holds the highest satisfaction for that card. -
Damn....I guess you might call it luck. I check the specs on my machine. Its got a Intel 440BX AGPset. Guess I picked the right card without knowing it.

Heh. This is funny. I just went down to the computer store and bought a G400-TV today (backordered by one day so I'll get it tomorrow), and then I come home and see this.. Kinda stoked 'cause i have a 440BX chipset! Woohoo!
