  1. When I try to encode a xvid .avi file with tmpgenc, I get errors like "invalid pointer" or some other strange error. Sometimes it won't even start to encode, and sometimes it stops in the middle of the movie. This only happens with xvid files, and i tried several different ones too, so it's not just one file. Anyone else had problems like this and how did you solve it in that case?

    And yes, I have the xvid codec installed

    XviD often has ogm audio, so this may be the problem.

    Whenever I convert XviD I first produce an avi and a wav using Graphedit. Maybe this is a way you should consider?
