error on tmpgenc ?

I was converting a avi and 10% into the conversion I had message saying illegal decimal floating point or somrthing along those lines ? I was wondering whether there is something wrong in the file or did I mess up on some of the options ?

this may happen time to time but this is not your mistake ,
it just avi could be a bit corrupted.
i had same problems in the pass, try re-encoding again
It helped me before or use different software
