can't get radvideotools to convert mov to avi. i'm not doing anything fancy, just simple convert. i have the newest rad release and quicktime 5 (i tried updating to qt6 last night but i hate quicktime generally, it was being awkward).
rad pretends to do it (ie, it whips through it quickly and then it thinks its done), or it gets really far into the mov and then it stops before finishing it and thinks that its done.
the mov files are standard downloads of media from various websites or from enhanced cd-roms, nothing special. radvideotools "file info" seems to have no problem getting all the stats from the files.
1) has anyone else experienced these problems or know how to solve the problem? 2) is there another (freeware/shareware) software that can do this conversion?
