Hi there!
I have a Centrum Gemini which more or less plays everything, but lately I have found that when playing SVCD's (Mpeg-2) I get alot of grey/white diffuse horizontal seethrough "fields" coming and going over the screen on my TV, it is always worse when the scene is pretty dark with some small lights on it. The " fields" can be everything from a thin line to several inches thick, It's not like that the picture disappear but still it's quite annoying. If it wasn't for those " fields" the picture is more or less perfect. Just as a side note, it really looks as it is only when Mpeg-2 encoding is used, it plays XVCD at 5000kbit/s 704x480 with no problems.
Has anyone a clue of what the problem can be? and would a firmware upgrade help?
BR
