First, I haven't made a thing yet.
Second, I haven't downloaded any software yet and just have Nero 5.5.the latest updates, VideoWave4, and WinDVD? that's coming with my barebones. (I've only used Nero for music cd's)
Before I try making a vcd, svcd, or a DVD (burner is on it's way), I'd like to know how difficult or if it is possible to do what I plan on doing.
I want to capture moving pictures, put my choice of music and have sound effects here and there. Ya know... like music and say if there is a herd of horses running, put the sound of their pounding hooves in, but without the background music stopping.
I hope I'm making sense. If anyone knows if this is possible. How would or do you do this? Would I need some REALLY expensive software, or some mixer etc.?
PS: I collect a lot of Presskits on CD and their stuff is really great, but I know the studio's have the bucks to do what they do.
