  1. I am capturing DV with Virtualdub on a P4, Win2k, Sp2, Firwire card. I get no audio when I play back the avi file.
I resinstalled my Windows. I only have LXS-encoder 3.5 and virtualdub on my system but I still get no Audio. Any suggestion is highly appriciated.

  2. I'm getting this problem as well with my STB TV-PCI card and Windows 2000. I have tried all the tv viewing apps out there and none produce audio. I have wired the audio cables in every way I know how [VCR->TV Card back; VCR->Audio In; VCR->Mic In] and none produce audio

Does anyone know what it is? [Yes, I have reinstalled the drivers several times and that didn't help either].

  5. VirtualDub does not capture DV audio. Try AVI_IO.
