Works with TPMG but no CCE, any ideas?

Note: I originally posted this in "newbie conversion" but I think this is probably the better forum for the question.

I can encode a SVCD using dvd2svcd with tpmg as the encoder and everything works fine. If I switch to CCE ver2.5 as the encoder then it plays fine on my PC but will not play in my dvd player. I get the dvd2svcd logo and it just hangs.

These are my cce settings...

VBR 4
Image quality 10
anti-noise on (2)
field order: bottom first

Advanced:
linear quantizer checked
zigzag checked
progressive frames

M=3 M/N = 5
SEQ header =1


Thanks for any help...I'm stuck. I have heard good things about CCE and can not get it to work, but TPMG works fine albeit a little slow.
