    there are a lot of those dvd home thearther out there. i notice that some dvd movie is 5.1 and there is this pro logic II that can change the stereo into 5.1.
    So my question is is this pro logic II stuff actually work and is it good.

    Pro logic II does a good job of translating 2 channel sound into 5.1, but it is no subtitute for 5.1. Since their is enough 2 channel materal out there don't get a system that does not have PLII or better.
